The Official Dress jacket was adopted in 1933. The FFA corduroy jacket is an article of faith, honor and pride. The jacket unifies members in a long-standing tradition and reminds them that they are part of something larger than themselves.
The Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation kicked off the first year of the FFA Jacket Grant Program in 2019 and have since awarded 555 jackets to students from across Arizona.
We encourage you to contribute as we work towards reaching our goal of 150 or more jackets gifted to FFA members in Arizona for the January 2024 Gala.
Samson Harris shares the impact of receiving his FFA jacket through the Arizona FFA Foundation has made on him!
"One of the best days in the life of an Agriculture Teacher is when a student zips up their jacket for the very first time. Sometimes, there can be different barriers for why a student cannot purchase a jacket, most often being the financial burden. Through this program generously sponsored through the foundation by generous donors, we were able to provide a very deserving student with their very own FFA jacket, a memory that they will remember forever."
