The Official Dress jacket was adopted in 1933. The FFA corduroy jacket is an article of faith, honor and pride. The jacket unifies members in a long-standing tradition and reminds them that they are part of something larger than themselves.
The Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation kicked off the first year of the FFA Jacket Grant Program in 2019 and have since awarded 997 jackets to students from across Arizona. In 2025 we will award the largest number of FFA jackets in a single year.
We encourage you to contribute to this program that makes a lifelong impact on the students. The Foundation is a non-profit with Tax ID 86-0531662.
Through a contribution of $80, you can help us continue to increase the number of jackets we can award each year to FFA members. Be a part of making a positive impact on a students life.
"One of the best days in the life of an Agriculture Teacher is when a student zips up their jacket for the very first time. Sometimes, there can be different barriers for why a student cannot purchase a jacket, most often being the financial burden. Through this program generously sponsored through the foundation by generous donors, we were able to provide a very deserving student with their very own FFA jacket, a memory that they will remember forever."

Paden Dillard shares the impact of receiving his FFA jacket through the Arizona FFA Foundation has made on him!
The Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation is pleased to present the Blue Jacket Legacy Program. Through the generosity of our donors over the past six years we have awarded 756 jackets to Arizona FFA Members.
The program is open to any Arizona FFA member in good standing. Eighth graders, Freshman, Sophomores, or Juniors who are in need of assistance to receive their very own FFA Jacket may apply. The deadline for online application is October 1. Students enrolled in an Arizona high school agriculture education program with an official FFA Chapter may contact their advisor for the link to apply for a jacket grant.
The FFA Jacket is not just a coat. The FFA member privileged to wear the jacket learns that the symbolism of the National Blue and Corn Gold colors along with the FFA emblem on the front and back of the jacket can inspire them and positively impact their high school education. Every FFA member should have the opportunity to have their name on the front of a jacket and supporters of the Blue Jacket Legacy Program help make that happen.
