Making a major or planned gift to the Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation is a way to make a difference in the lives of young people for generals to come. Establish an FFA endowment with a minimum contribution of $15,000. You can name the endowment and designate how the money should be used. The Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation will use the annual earnings on your contribution.
Contribute to the Arizona Agriculture Education/FFA Foundation by including the Foundation in your will or estate plan.
A gift of appreciated stock eliminates any capital gains tax and allow you to claim an income-tax deduction based on the full market value of long-term securities regardless of their original cost.
Jerry Wheeler Cullison, lifetime farmer of 61 years and resident of Wellton, Arizona passed away on August 13, 2020 at the age of 82 with his family by
his side. Jerry devoted his life to supporting FFA and agricultural education through selfless service. Serving as a National FFA Officer in 1957-1958,
helping establish the Arizona Agricultural Education/FFA Foundation in 1985,
and continuing to provide support and insight as a member of the Foundation board until June 2020. Jerry and his wife Lynne have supported FFA
on the local, state and National level.
In 2015 the Dr. Glen Miller Endowment was created in his memory to award a student at the University of Arizona in agriculture education with a scholarship. The Endowment has continued to grow through the years which is close to fulfilling the second scholarship. Glen M. Miller graduated from the University of Arizona, Department of Agricultural Education in 1969. He was hired by Mayer Public Schools to start the Vocational Agriculture Program. In 1981 Dr.. Miller left Mayer to become the Director of the New Teacher Program for the Department of Agricultural Education at the University of Arizona .
